Luacine Annette Savage Clark was born to parents Charles Roscoe Savage (1832-1909) and Annie Fenn Adkins Savage (1836-1893).

She was born the 8th of 13 children. Her siblings are; Charles Stenhouse (1857-1857), Roscoe Eddington (1858-1945), Ralph Graham (1860-1928), Annie (1862-1955), George Lewis (1865-1936), Fannie Maude (1867-1929), Enos Hodge (1869-1870), Ida Mae (1874-1918), Lennie Louise (1875-1965), Ray Thomas (1878-1968), Arley Fenn (1879-1969) and Emma (1882-1979).

Luacine married Joshua Rueben Clark, Jr. on September 14th, 1898 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a faithful and loving support to her husband as he served in civic duties in the U.S. Department of State, Judge Advocate General's Office during WWI and as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico.

While serving as Ambassador to Mexico, her husband accepted the call to be 2nd Counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon submitting resignation of the Ambassadorship, they returned to Salt Lake City where she lived the remainder of her life.

Luacine was the loving mother to four children; Annie Louise (1899-1997), Marianne Savage (1901-1990) Joshua Reuben III (1908-1992) and Luacine Savage (1914-2002).
