Lucinda Engle (Robert3, Margaret2, John1) was born in Moscow, Hillsdale County, Mich., August 9, 1844. She taught school in Hillsdale County for eight years, taught one year in Hart, and one year in Holland, Mich. On February 21, 1868 she was married in Hart, Mich., to Floyd N. Lindsley, who was born at Livonia Station, N.Y. They lived some time in Manistee and then at Casnovia, Mich. For many years their home was on a farm at Big Rapids, Mich. In 1910 they removed to a farm near Independence, Mo., where they now reside.
