Lucinda Sargent, dau. of Winthrop Sargent and Ruth Reed, was born 1805 in Dunbarton, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire. She married on Apr. 16, 1829 with AMOS HATCH. He was born Sept. 17, 1807. He died Sept. 9, 1878; she died Aug. 27, 1888; both buried at Central Cemetery, New Ipswich, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire.

Children were: Amos E. (1830-1832), Edward A. (1835-1836), Abbie Sargent (1836-1922; m. as 2nd wife Joseph Addison Wheeler), Sylvanus (1/15/1839; moved to California) and Sadie (1854-1872).
