Death of Mrs. W.W. Frager
Mrs. William W. Frager died at her home on Thursday morning. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Brethren church.
Lucy Ann Seery was born in Waterloo, Ind., Oct 24, 1853 and died at her home in Corning, Kansas Aug 20, 1924, aged 70 years, 9 months, 26 days.
She was united in marriage to W.W. Frager on Sept 28, 1879. To this union were born 7 children, three of whom died in early childhood.
In 1880 she, with her husband, moved to Iowa and in 1885 to Kansas, settling on a farm 5 1-2 miles south west of Corning. Here they made their home and reared their family until 1920 when they moved to Corning where they lived until the time of her death.
Mrs. Frager was converted and united with the United Brethren church at the age of 11 years, and has lived a consistent Christian life and died in the triumphs of a living faith, a member of the Corning U.B. church.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, W.W. Frager, two sons, Clyde of Flint, Mich. and Delbert of Blackwell, Okla., two daughters, Mrs. Orpha Freel of Bancroft and Mrs. Edna Steel of Goff, Kansas, 15 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
In her death, her husband has lost a loving companion, her children, a loving mother, her church a faithful member, her community a sympathetic and helpful friend.
