Biographical Summary:

Lucy Amelia Bloxham, (1833-1851) christened 15 Sep 1833, in Walton Cardiffe parish, which was the residence of Isaac and Mary Bloxham. The middle name Amelia does not appear on any record of Lucy in England. It is, however, on her patriarchal blessing, the temple records, and in Horace Kimball Whitney’s Bible. Lucy became the second wife of Horace Kimball Whitney 9 October 1850 in Salt Lake City. Horace was the eldest son of Presiding Bishop Newel Kimball Whitney and Elizabeth Ann Smith. She died in Salt Lake City, on Wednesday, 10 Sep 1851, at 10:20 p.m., after giving birth to her only child, Newel Kimball Whitney, 7 Sep 1851, at 4:20 p.m. The child died 22 Sep 1851, at 1:05 a.m.
