Lydia Terry was born on 10 October 1726 at Freetown. She was the daughter of Benjamin Terry and Margaret Holloway.

Lydia Terry married Thomas Winslow, son of Jonathan Winslow and Sarah Kerby, on 17 January 1765 at Freetown. Her married name was Winslow.

She was still living in Freetown on 5 Aug 1787. Her husband was living there until 6 May 1790.
