Malinda Lowry was the daughter of Abner and Louisa Bradley Lowry. She married Heber Alonzo Pettey.
MALINDA L. PETTEY
Mrs. Malinda Lowry Pettey, 92, 745 Emerson Ave., died Tuesday 12:15 a.m. at a Salt Lake City rest home of causes incident to age.
Born May 26, 1865, Moroni, Sanpete County, to Abner and Louisa Lowry. Married Heber Alonzo Pettey Oct. 24, 1883, Sterling County, later solemnized Manti Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Moved to Ferron, Emery County, 1888; lived there for 57 years. Moved to Salt Lake City, 1944.
Survivors: sons, daughters, Mrs. J.L. (Effie) Stevens, J. Melvin, Cleil, all Salt Lake City; Earl, Oregon; Lloyd E., Ferron; Mrs. Edria McNiel, Orangeville; ee grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Friday, 10 a.m. 250 E. South Temple, where friends call Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., Friday prior. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. -The Salt Lake Tribune April 16, 1958
