This one is one of the most horrible stories (Sutikla p. 85)

Both Mare and her father Nikola got sick from "black death". In a day or two both died and were burries straight away, to stop epidemic spreading. The sailors (Sutikla cemetry is on the beachfront) reported hearing women cry.

The story says, that when the grave was openned for new burial, the story says that a skeleton was found in a sitting position holding head/hear with both hands.
