"...Margaret Salmon was born in Scotland in 1842. Her father worked in the textile industry and her mother died when she was 11. Her family was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before her mother's death. At 20 Alexander Calderwood sent for her to come to Utah as they had promised 7 years earlier. After their marriage they settled in Coalville where they had 11 children before Alexander died. Margaret lived many more years, dying in 1923, forty years after her husband..."
