"Mrs. Margaret Lauener Kunz, 83, Bern died Saturday of causes incident to age at her home in Bern, Bear Lake County, Idaho. She had been in ill health for 20 years. Mrs. Kunz was born Feb. 16, 1866, at Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, a daughter of Christian and Margaretha Lauener. She was married to John Kunz III Sept. 5, 1888 in the Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. John Kunz III died in 1918. Mrs. Kunz emigrated to the United States and Idaho when she was 17 years old. She lived in Paris a few years before moving to Bern, where she resided until her death. Of her ten sons and daughters, four survive, Abel Kunz, Montpelier; George and Heber Kunz, Bern, and Mrs. Paul Nielson, Ogden. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
