Margaret of Artois

Margaret of Artois (1285-1311) was the eldest child of Philip of Artois and his wife, Blanche of Brittany. Her maternal grandparents were John II, Duke of Brittany and Beatrice of England, her paternal grandparents were Robert II of Artois and Amicie de Courtenay. Her brother was Robert III of Artois.
Margaret was married to Louis d'Évreux, son of Philip III of France by his second wife Maria of Brabant. The couple had five children:
Marie (1303 – October 31, 1335), married in 1311 John III, Duke of Brabant
Charles d'Évreux (1305–1336), Count of Étampes married Maria de la Cerda, Lady of Lunel, daughter of Fernando de la Cerda.
Philip III of Navarre (1306–1343), married Joan II of Navarre.
Marguerite (1307–1350), married in 1325 William XII of Auvergne
Jeanne d'Évreux (1310–1370), married Charles IV of France
Her son, Philip became King of Navarre by his marriage to Joan II of Navarre, their children included Charles II of Navarre, Maria of Navarre and Blanche d'Évreux. Maria was married to Peter IV of Aragon and was mother of Constança of Aragon, queen consort of Sicily. Blanche was queen consort of France by her marriage to Philip VI of France.
