Margaret of Bourbon (1344–1416)

Margaret of Bourbon (1344-1416) was a daughter of Peter I, Duke of Bourbon and his wife Isabella of Valois, who was a daughter of Charles of Valois. Margaret was a member of the House of Bourbon.

Margaret married Arnaud Amanieu, Lord of Albret on 30 June 1368; the marriage was to do with a secret treaty between Charles V of France and Arnaud Amanieu.
The couple had one son, Charles d'Albret who became Count of Dreux and Constable of France. His children included: Charles II d'Albret, his father's successor, Jeanne d'Albret; she was mother of Gaston IV of Foix, and Guillaume d'Albret; he became Lord of Orval.

Catherine (1342–1427, Paris), married John VI, Count of Harcourt
Margaret's great granddaughter was Anne of Brittany, who was Queen consort of France by her marriages to Charles VIII of France and Louis XI of France. Anne's daughter, Claude was married to Francis I of France.
