About Maria Carolina Pastori (Mereghetti)

Casorezzo: The name appears for the first time in a parchment of the ninth century AD. Since then, the evidence concerning the name of the place have occurred over the years.

Coat CasorezzoNella plain north-east of Milan, between the municipalities of Busto Garolfo and Arluno, only the remains of a tower bear witness to the castle of St. George - who would now be thousands of years - and the ancient Domus Retius ('House of networks'). The site appears variously mentioned in medieval documents as 'Casobrecio', 'Caxoritio', 'Casorezo' or similar names, but are undoubtedly its most remote origins of settlement, since in 1920 they found themselves here urns, vases, and tear- a coin of the Flavian period. The parish of St. George the Martyr has inherited the name of the castle and its church inside, not the location: the present building dates from 1913. Before the post-war industry with conversion of the peculiarities of the place was the resort of the Milanese nobility: the recall and the Villas Villa Caccia Dominioni Gajo, one of whom now municipal. Zucchi's collection is a unique collection of antique hand-block printing on fabric (1785-1935). The reason why the City of Casorezzo decided to include in his arms the figure of a castle is due to the fact that local historians make mention of the existence on the territory of a large castle with four side towers and surrounded by a moat . A few brief comments on this character heraldic crest. The castle of the emblem of the City of Casorezzo is called 'open', on the grounds that, due to the opening of his door you can see the glaze of the field behind the castle that is silver. In addition, the castle is also called 'window' because its windows are of a different color from that of the castle: black instead of red. As for the heraldic symbol of the 'country', this is considered a 'piece honorable' formed from the surface of the bottom of the shield is bounded by a horizontal line placed at a third of the shield, starting from its tip. The term 'Torricella' means, in heraldry, a building or fortification equipped with small towers.

The Banner of the City of Casorezzo consists of a cloth of red and white party, richly decorated with silver embroidery and loaded with the coat of arms above the inscription centered in silver: City of Casorezzo. The metal parts are silver and beads. The vertical shaft is covered by the velvet white and red, alternated with silver studs placed in a spiral. Arrow will be represented in the coat of arms engraved on the stem and the name. Tie and belt are decorated with national colors fringed with silver.
