About Marion Grant (Hepburn)
Marion Houghton Hepburn was born on April 24, 1918 in Hartford, CT. She was the daughter of Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn M.D. and Katharine Martha Houghton. Marion Houghton Hepburn married Ellsworth Strong Grant in June 12, 1938 in Hartford, CT. They had three children:a son John "Jack" Bernard Grant(1940-), a daughter Katharine Houghton Grant(1945/1942?-) and another daughter named Toby(1950?-). Marion Houghton Hepburn died in 1986.
She was a Connecticut historian, activist for the disadvantaged, co-founder of the Greater Hartford Urban League, and the 1949-1950 president of the Junior League of Hartford.
