About Martha Clark

Martha was the daughter of Ensign GEORGE & DEBORAH (GOLD) CLARK. She was baptized on May 26, 1695 at Milford First Church.

On May 5, 1714, she married SAMUEL PECK, in Milford, Conn. They were the parents of Martha, Samuel, Mary (Peck) Fenn, Deacon Job, Abigail (Peck) Clark, and my ancestor, NATHAN PECK.

After Samuel's death in 1728, Martha married James Booth (his 2nd wife according to her tombstone). They were the parents of Sarah, James, John, Hezekiah, and Josiah Booth (see monument).

Burial: Old Congregational Burying Ground Stratford Fairfield County Connecticut, USA -------------------- Martha Clark, dau. of Ensign George Clark and Deborah Gold, was born 1694. She married with SAMUEL PECK, son of Joseph Peck and Mary Camp on May 5, 1714 in Miflrod, Conn. He was born 1690 in Milford, New Haven Co., Conn.

After he died Apr. 29, 1728 in Milford, Conn., Martha re-married to JAMES BOOTH (his 2nd wife, according to her tombstone). She died Dec. 3, 1747 and is buried at Old Congregational Burying Ground, Stratford, Fairfield Co., Conn.with him.

Children by Peck: Martha, Samuel, Mary (m. Fenn), Deacon Job, Abigail (m. Clark), and Nathan.

Children by Booth: Sarah, James, John, Hezekiah, and Josiah.
