Martha Jane Droubay, 62, died Thursday at 2:20 a.m. at her home, 936 Third Avenue, following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Droubay was born in Tooele, February 9, 1872, a daughter of Joseph Moroni and Susannah Elizabeth Dunn. She was a widow of Peter A. Droubay. She was an active worker in the LDS church, being an officer in the Twenty-seventh ward Relief Society for several years.
She is survived by her mother, of Tooele; seven sons and daughters, John W. Droubay, Boise, Idaho; Marcus McKinley Droubay, Redondo Beach, Cal.; Seymour Droubay, E. Madeleine Droubay and Mrs. Virgina Huish, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Beatrice Sneddon, Chandler, Colo, and Mrs. Cynthia Swanson, Portland, Ore.; six brothers and sisters, Joseph Owen Dunn, Corinne; Llewellyn O. Dunn, Mrs. Ann E. Anderson and Mrs. Edith M. Richards, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Addie Vowels and Mrs. Effie Lindberg of Tooele; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday from the Larkin mortuary. A short graveside service will be held with interment in the Tooele City Cemetery.
