MARY ELIZABETH FIRTH

is the daughter of John Firth, joiner in Finstown, and his wife Jean Borwick. She was born 31 October 1869 and died 21 August 1957.

MEMORIAL INSCRIPTION IN FINSTOWN CEMETERY

John Firth, joiner, born 13th October 1838, died 31st December 1922. His spouse, Jean Borwick, died 21st June 1935, aged 94 years. His daughters: Mary Elizabeth, died 21st August 1957, aged 87 years; and Jane Jessie, widow of Robert Learmonth, died 25th April 1959, aged 86 years [Memorial Inscription in Finstown Burial Ground, transcription by Neil Reid Ford, 13th of August 1977.
