FIELD W. (Mrs) There died at Feilding on Saturday last, a very old settler in this part of the Wairarapa, ( viz: Mrs. W. FIELD). This lady for some years kept the Waihenga Ferry House before the bridge was constructed. Mrs. Field also lived at Moroa and Carterton. She was generally known and respected by old residents in the valley. Her husband is at present in the asylum in Auckland.
