Mary Augusta Leavitt was a 1899 graduate of Mount Holyoke College.

Mary was a student at Boston University from 1899-1902 and a student at Harvard University in 1904.

She was a physician, anaesthetist at Massachusetts Homeopathic Hospital Boston and a lecturer at the Boston University School of Medicine.
