With husband, visited brother James at Annedale near Tinui, travelling by pony chaise. Journal is at the Hocken Library in Dunedin. Article in Wairarapa Times Age, 27/1/2007.
Had a cousin called Francis Edward Roberts, a Chester solicitor from 1862. Francis' father and grandfather were also Chester businessmen.
No children, but raised a number of nieces and nephews in Dunedin including Harriet's daughter "Sister Etheleen" and three children of Sam's clergyman brother, Edmund, who died in Wanganui.
Two of the latter were Canon Nevill, of the Cathedral, and Miss Emily Nevill (Mrs Campbell Gillies). The third child, Guy, when grown up, lived for the most part in Auckland.
