About Mary Revere (Robbins)

Jane Revere's mother was Mary Robbins, the daughter of Mass. Lt. Governor Edward Hutchinson Robbins and his wife Elizabeth Murray. (who was dau. of a James Murray of Milton.)

Mary Robbins's sister was Sarah Lydia ("Sally") Robbins, who in 1813 married Judge Samuel Howe; their children included James Murray Howe, who married a Harriet Clark and their children included Archibald Murray (1848) and James Murray (2nd) abt. 1855.

James Murray Howe (2nd) married Elizabeth Hall in 1866 and they had 4 children and lived in Brush Hill, Milton.

His brother, Archibald, married in 1881 to Arria Dixwell. Their son Archibald was born in 1891 in Chestnut Hill.

ps. J Murray Howe of North Haven died at sea in 1879 on a trip from Rio de Janeiro to Baltimore.
