Apparently the correct name for this locale was Newtown. This, however, wasn't the name of the location at the time of her birth, if it was in 1654, as this was still part of New Netherlands and called Middenburgh or Middleburgh. The present-day locale name is the Elmhurst neighborhood in Queens, New York.
