Have not been able to find documentation (other than memorial stone) on a Mary Edwards who married a Josephus Waters. Newman (Anne Arundel Gentry, vol. 2, p. 150) records a Mary Edwards, daughter of Ensign Edward Edwards and Ann (last name unknown, believed to be a Linthicum) , who married a "Cephas Waters". It is possible this was an error for "Josephus", as no Cephas Waters is recorded.
