Teutopolis, Ill. —

Mary L. Zerrusen, 71, of Teutopolis passed away at 5:18 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2008 at her home in rural Teutopolis.

Mary was born on September 13, 1936 in Cumberland County to Marshall J. and Rena A. (Meyer) Kingery. Mary married Adolph A. Zerrusen on June 15, 1957 and he survives. She was a secretary for Heartland Human Services for 10 years and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Teutopolis, St. Francis Council of Catholic Women, St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary and was a Hospice volunteer.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Kevin (wife Janet) of Falls Church, VA, Kenneth (wife Sandy) of Akron, OH; daughters, Kim (husband Tim) Mach of Dayton, OH, Kristi Becker of St. Louis, MO, Karleen (husband Paul) Turner of Scottsdale, AZ, Karmen (husband Steve) Little of Noblesville, IN; brothers, Fr. Victor Kingery of Sherman, Virgil (wife Ann) Kingery of Effingham, Art (wife Sue) Kingery of Peoria, John (wife Deloris) Kingery of Teutopolis; sister, Theresa Nuxoll of Effingham; and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, William; 2 sisters, Vera and Ann; and 1 grandchild, Jordan.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery.
