Merton was a man of his word and a very loving husband. His high integrity was felt by all who knew him. He loved his family very much and it is such a shame he did not live long enough to see how well his family has developed. His two children are grown with wonderful families of two children each, who are living with faithful loving marriage partners. He now has 3 granddaughters and one grandson. He would be so proud to see them now in the year 2009 as well as meet his little great-grandchild, Wesley, who was born on March 3, 2008 to Julie and Nathan in NYC.
