About Meyer Fleisher
Meyer Fleisher came to the U.S. around 1834,He was a butcher by trade, but did not follow it in this country. He had a store in Centre Co. Penna. for a while, then moved to Philadelphia, where he was in the retail dry goods and notion business for many years.
