About Monica Teresa Pappadake (Hyndman)
Monica T. Pappadake, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow, died March 29, 2005 at the age of 72. Born May 22, 1932 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Francis and Alice Ferris Hyndman. Monica was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church, where she sang in the choir, a member of the Sleepy Hollow Seniors, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Columbiettes of the Knights of Columbus and she was past present of Columbia Hose Ladies Auxiliary. Monica is survived by husband Peter and her son James (Mary Ellen) White of Stony Point. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brian, James L. and Allison M. White as well as her brother William Hyndman of Chicago, IL. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister. Visitation will be at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Her Funeral Mass will be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Saturday at 10 am. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Teresa of Avila Church, 130 Beekman Ave., Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591 would be appreciated.
