Nancy Blankenship is the wife of Robert Higginbotham. The couple were married c1785 in Russell County, VA. Robert and Nancy migrated from Tazewell County, VA around 1813 along with Henry and Mary Ann (Higginbotham) Boling, William and Frances (Higginbotham) Garrison to Madison County, Mississippi Territory which later became Alabama. Robert Higginbotham, her husband, served in the American Revolution and is buried in the Higginbotham Family Cemetery, aka M Fisk, Hazel Green, Madison, AL. It is not known at the present time where Nancy is buried.
