Anna Bella McInnis, who was adopted from Scotland, born in 1804, died on August 23, at the age of 24.

Apparently there was a terrible disease in 1828. The family moved within a few months of that dreadful August.

The next event in the family's records was the birth of Helen Baxter North in Elkhart, Indiana, in December of the next year.
