About Nathaniel White

iii. Nathaniel White was baptized in Shalford on April 30, 1587.

Will of Robert White - May 27, 1617

Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Nathaniell White the sume of fortie pounds of like lawfull monye, wherof my will is that twenty pounds shalbe paid within one yeare next after my depture, and the other twentye pounds to be paidunto him within two years next after my said depture oute of this natural llife.

No marriage is on record for Nathaniel White, and if he did marry it is unlikely that he had more than one wife. The marriage given here may be a misidentification with a different Nathaniel White (possibly the son of his brother "Elder" John White, who *did* marry an Elizabeth Brewster in Middletown, CT in 1650).

'The will of Nathaniel White of Fering, dated 9 June, 1623, proved 31 July, 1623, mentions his mother Bridget White, ... Fering is four or five miles from Messing.'
