About Obadiah Coolidge, Jr.

The records of the Mass. State Archives, Vol. 91, p. 213 lists Obadiah in His Majesty's service under the command of Capt. Samuel Wright from 6/10/1725 - 9/1/1725.

In 1728, he and his family were residents of Framingham. In 1732, they lived in Marlborough and in 1740, Westborough.

Per the Coolidge Genealogy, Obadiah and his family had a hard life - it is conjectured that he might have been one of those unlucky souls who just cannot make a living.
