(son of Justus Wellington Seely and Clarissa Jane Wilcox) born February 20, 1843, Nashville, Iowa.

   Married:	Hannah Olsen July 24, 1863. Mt. Pleasant, Utah (daughter of Hans Olsen and Chasty Okersen of Sweden, pioneers October 20, 1867). She was born November 27, 1842.
   Their children:
           Emma Jane born October 30, 1864, married Christian Grice Larsen;
           Hanna born September 19, 1866, married Nad Olsen;
           Orange born December 29, 1869, married Trena Hansen;
           Sarah born February 7, 1871, married Samuel H. Larsen;
           Chasty born June 9, 1873, married Heber Frandsen;
           Henry Alonzo born December 2, 1875;
           Mary Bertrude born April 3, 1878;
           Ethel Ingre born September 16, 1880, died;
           David Randolph born January 16, 1882, married Elva Singleton.
   Family home Castledale, Utah.

Bishop of North ward, Mt. Pleasant, 1877-79; also bishop of Castle Valley ward 1879-83. First counselor to President C. G. Larsen 18 years. President of town board two terms. Member legislature 1894. Sources:
