Son, Fay Maupin, mailed card to her with no message. It was when he was traveling a lot plying his trade as a sign painter. He was probably just letting her know where he was at the time.

Received postcard from daughter, Orra Carroll, mailed from Amarillo, Texas, 4-24-1909. It reads; "We had snow day before yesterday. Am still wearing my heavy coat. Jim sends love and hopes you are not working too hard. No news. Jim is home on Sunday. Will write in a day or two. Hope you are OK. Love, Orra.
