About Patrick J. "Pete" Corbett
He lost two brothers and two sisters in the big yellow fever epidemic in New Orleans during the 1800s. He moved to San Francisco, California., where he met Catherine McDonald, and married her in 1858.
In 1898 he murdered his wife, and then took his own life in their bedroom on Hayes Street in San Francisco.
