Pedro Enriquez de Acevedo ( Zamora , September 18th of 1525 - Milan , July 22 of 1610 ), Count of Fuentes , the Spanish political and military. Son of Don Diego Enriquez de Guzman, 3rd Count Alba de Liste (List) and Dona Catalina de Toledo and Pimentel.
After his marriage in 1585 to Dona Juana de Acevedo y Fonseca, first Countess of Fuentes , he adopted his name and title, the first Earl of sources .
In 1585 he was appointed captain general of the cavalry of Milan , under the orders of the governor of Milan Sancho de Guevara and Padilla. In 1589 be appointed captain-general of Portugal , defended Lisbon attack by Antonio I of Portugal , who was assisted by the English John Norreys and Francis Drake , privateers sent by Elizabeth I of England .
Since in 1595 the head of the thirds of Flanders , took Dourlens and Cambrai ( 1595 ), in the course of the war against France . For her merits, Philip II appointed him in 1598 , captain-general of Spain , Minister of State and War and grandee of Spain .
