About Peggy Ann ROWE-SNYDER
I don't know what to say about me. I'm 48 now. Been "into" genealogy since I was about 15 or 16. But the big breakthroughs came in the 1990's and 2000's when more and more resources have became available on the internet.
I'm a mom of four kids. They are 26, 25 19, and 11. Wow! My babies are growing up!
I'm a computer consultant, website designer, graphic designer, & researcher. I volunteer A LOT, and have a tendency to do too much and get in over my head. I volunteer for the local historical society by doing their website: www.douglascountyhistoricalsociety.org and I often am out taking photos of headstones to donate to www.findagrave.com .
I'm so totally happily married to Clyde Snyder. He is the guy I was looking for all my life. He's trustable, and steady. He gives me the strength I need. I'd follow him anywhere because I know I can and be safe. He works like a dog for his company and for us.
We live in Southern Oregon because that is 1.) where the job was, and 2.) where real estate was low enough that we could afford it and 3.) still close enough to family all over that we could see everyone on a kind of regular basis. (and then comes along these awful gas prices). So, we own our own very, VERY modest two bedroom home. We are improving it as we can, what we hear from others is "a little at a time" is normal. Ha!
I don't know what to put here.... except to say, in terms of Genealogy, I have found that I am the "stereotypical" American. 100% European in the roots, including a Puritan from the Mayflower trip! If ever there was a person who fits into the "melting pot" scenario, I am that person. But, I am proud of the heritage, and I am proud of my folks (all of them) and I'm proud of my country! I don't believe America is all that wrong, or has wronged too many people.
I don't want to get into politics, it gets me into trouble! hehehe!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
hehehehe, my favorite colors are pink and purple! hahahaha
Big Ol Hugs, Peggy
Note: As of January 13th, 2010 Clyde has adopted my two older children. Together we adopted another (adult) child. There were three legal name changes made:
Pamela Ann Miller becomes Victoria Ann Snyder.
Wesley William Allen Miller becomes Wesley William Snyder
Janea Elizabeth Dotterer adds Snyder on to her name as well.
The court papers were processed out of Multnomah County, OREGON
