Father of Peter Pelham, Organist for Bruton Parish Chapel, in Williamsburg, Virginia. Famous colonial engraver in Boston. He trained his famous stepson, John Singleton Copley, who become the famous mezzotint engraver of the Colonial era. Copley engraved pictures of some of the Founding Fathers.
