Field Marshal Philip George Browne was born on 2 June 1727 at Novara, Italy.1 He was the son of Field Marshal Ulysses Maximilian Browne and Maia Philippine von Martinitz.1 He died on 19 December 1803 at age 76 at Bohemia, without issue.1

He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Browne [Jacobite, 1726] on 26 June 1757.1 He succeeded to the title of Graf von Browne [Holy Roman Empire] on 26 June 1757.1 He gained the rank of Field Marshal Lieutenant in the service of the Imperial Service.1 He was invested as a Knight, Order of Maria Theresa of Austria (K.M.T.).1

On his death, all of his honour became extinct.2
