History - Came to Utah as a widow with the Thomas C. D. Howell Company departing 7 June 1852. The company arrived in the Salt Lake Valley: 2, 11-12, 27 September 1852. 293 individuals plus 10 families and about 65 wagons were in the company when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Kanesville, Iowa (present day Council Bluffs). Elias Pulsipher had died at Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa.
