Purificacion "Purita" Liwanag-Ponce Enrile was singer of kundimans and opera. She was a noted opera producer and produce such opera classics as Cavallaria Rusticana. Cose Fan Tute, La Traviata and La Bohem. She was an active gardener and was a world famous orchod collector. She was elected president of the Philippine Orchid Society for two terms and was active until her death.
