Relief (Holland) Foster Ledbetter (1650-1743), was a daughter of John Holland, one of the earliest settlers of Charlestown (near Boston), Suffolk County, Colonial Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Upon 9 March 1692, widow Relief (Holland) Foster became the second wife of widower Henry Leadbetter, during a wedding ceremony in Old Dorchester Baptist Church, Dorchester, Suffok County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.

The 9 March 1692 Marriage of Henry Leadbetter (widower) unto Relief (Holland) Foster (widow) is documented, as follows:

"(Henry Leadbetter) married Relief Foster, March 9, 1692. She was born in 1650. Was twice married before marrying Henry Leadbetter. Was daughter of John Holland, one of the earliest settlers of Charlestown.
Her first husband was John Dowse, by whom she had children (2);
second husband was Timothy Foster, by whom she also had children.
She died July 7, 1743; buried in Old Dorchester Burying Ground, near... (undecipherable text){small stone)."

Graveyard Burials of Henry Leadbetter, 1st Wife, Sarah (Tolman) Ledbetter & 2nd Wife, Relief (Holland) Foster Leadbetter:

"He (Henry Leadbetter) was doubtless buried in the Old Dorchester Burying Ground, although no stone marks the spot of his last resting place, or of that of his first wife, the mother of his children. Very few stones were used in the early burials; the graves of only a few of all the Mayflower colonists are known today. His second wife, Relief, is also buried there, and a small stone with a fairly decipherable inscription marks her grave."
