Mr René Pernot from Paris was chauffeur to Benjamin Guggenheim. He boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg and travelled in second class (ticket number SC/PARIS 2131, £15 1s).

Pernot died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
