A John Sanders of Gloucester, MA married Mary Dolliver daughter of Samuel Dolliver of Gloucester. He died young at sea leaving a single son John. They had no other Sanders children. What happened to Mary (Dolliver) Sanders isn't known according to Putnam's Magazine but Torrey and Essex Ant. states she married second to Richard Babson:
From Torrey's New England marriages:

"Mary Dolliver, d/o Samuel and Mary (Elwell), b. 26 March 1662; "married John Sanders, who is supposed to be the son of the widow Mary, and was supposed to have been lost at sea, leaving one son, John: of her I know no more.""
According to Babson's Gloucester (below) Mary (____) married to Richard Babson
