RICHARD CALVERLEY b.1811, as a boy of 9 years old sailed from Liverpool with his parents William Calverley, labourer (35 years old) and Jane Calverley (28 years old) and siblings William (14), James (5) and Eliza (2) & brother (?) Thomas (18). They left on 13 January 1820 in freezing weather on the ship 'JOHN', reaching Table Bay on 19 April 1820 and Algoa Bay in May 1820. John Stanley was the leader of the party which was located on the Blaaukrantz River, its location named Trentham Park. Richard Calverley later married James Wheeler's 3rd daughter, also named Harriet, from Willson's party.
