About Richard Foxwell, II

Richard Foxwell came from England with Governor Winthrop in 1631. Later that year he moved to Scituate and was admitted as freeman. He later moved to Barnstable and became a member of the Barnstable Militia in 1643. He died in Barnstable, MA. Probably an indentured servant to pay off relocation to Massachusetts. -Oath of Freemanship/Allegiance; 18 May 1631; Plymouth Colony, MA
