His will is recorded in Will Book 18, Page 94, signed June 13, 1971 by his mark, and admitted to record on March 1, 1890. In his will he made provision for his widow, Mary S. Lancaster with the balance to his 3 daughters: Ann E. Burnette, Phillippi Rose, and Mary A. Jarrell. He named his sons-in-law Robert A. Burnett and Benjamin F. Rose as Execustors.

We were very lucky that we had in our possession a maple bed that my parents used that came from the Lancaster family; my niece Kaci now has it in her home. We also have a large silver serving spoon that is engraved and had belonged to Hulda Lancaster, either my sister, Nan or I have this item.
