About Richard Novak
Richard Novak was born on May 17, 1930, to Konrad and Emilie Salus Novak. On Sept. 12, 1942, Richard and his parents were transported from Prague to Terezin in Transport Bg, Richard as Prisoner No. 941. They were interned for over two years in the camp at Terezin, and finally on Oct. 19, 1944, they were transported on Transport Es from Therezin to Auschwitz Birkenau, Richard as Prisoner No. 753. He survived a little over four months at Auschwitz, finally succumbing just over one month after liberation.
