About Richard Waite

admitted to the church in Boston August 28th 1634; took the Freeman's oath March 8th 1637; member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston; sent in 1647 as a messenger to the Chief Sachem of the Narragansett Indians; as Marshall of the Colony of Massachusetts, he was sent on an expedition against the same tribe.
