Drowned at the Castle Bay Whaling Station. Arrived per "Warrior" with parents in Molly's party. Father was an ex soldier who served in Ireland with Molloy. Was farming at the Vasse, when he married Mary Layman, a widow. In Oct..1847 he was in charge of a whaling party at the Vasse and in March 1849 his whaling establishment at Bunbury was destroyed in a fire, causing the loss of several hundred pounds. In June 1849 applied for a depasturing licence at Wonnerup.Aug.1850 named as defaulter WA Mining Co Share
