Robert Lumsden, 1st of Cushnie was the son of Robert Lumsden.[2]

He married, firstly, Isobel Forbes, daughter of John Forbes of Terpersie.[1]

He married, secondly, Jean Calder.[1]

He died in 1546.[1]

In 1509 he received a charter of Cushnie in free barony from King James IV.[1]
